The Transitional Living Program (TLP) is part of the Family and Youth Services Bureau’s (FYSB) Runaway and Homeless Youth Program. TLP focuses on giving young people a chance to exercise leadership, to build skills, to become involved in their communities, and to make a successful transition to self-sufficient living.

Services offered to youth include:
- Financial support
- Housing assistance
- Interpersonal and life building skills training
- Educational opportunities
- Assistance in job preparation and attainment
- Counseling
Living accommodations may be set up with a host family, group home, or supervised apartment. |
eligibility
Any person between the ages of 16-21 who does not have a safe or stable place to live, and resides in Assumption, Lafourche, or Terrebonne parish may be eligible for this program.
